My heart is broken. We reconnected after 59 years and I will always be so thankful that we were able to have lunch together when I was home visiting. It was a wonderful time and lots of laughs. Even though we had talked on the phone several times during the year it was nothing compared to the fun time we had that day. We laughed about all our aches and pains and getting old . We talked about our families, children and grandchildren. We talked about our shoes and purses and we promised with laughter that we were going to get rid of the ones we did not need then we laughed. I will thank God everyday that we had this time together . I am sure you are rejoicing at seeing your son and your... grandson and we know you are smiling down at us. God Bless Fred and the rest of your family. They will miss you terribly but God needed you home. You will always be in my heart ..Read more
