Shirley Frances Richmond Stephens
Shirley Frances Richmond Stephens, age 82, of Fitzpatrick Road, Beckley, WV, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019.
Born on April 13, 1937, at Eccles, she was the daughter of the late Carl Edward Richmond and Irene Adkins Richmond.
Mrs. Stephens was a former employee of the Department of Human Resources as a caregiver. She was a member of Spoken Word Tabernacle in Beaver, and enjoyed sewing, gardening flowers, and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Todd.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 59 years, Joseph Stephens; children, Michael G. Stephens and wife Connie, Sharon Foster and husband Tony, and Scott Stephens and wife Barbara.
Five grandchildren: Joseph Michael Stephens, Carrie Leigh Covey, Tony Foster, Christopher Musick, and Autumn Stephens. Eight great grandchildren also survive.
A visitation will be held at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, from 11AM until 1 PM, with a graveside service to be held at Richmond Cemetery at Freezeland Mountain at 2 PM with Rev.
