Shirley Holliday Perdue Noble Obituary

Ansted, West Virignia - Shirley Holliday Perdue Noble, 89, of Ansted went to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at CAMC.

She was born on September 23, 1935; she was the daughter of Lee Carrington Holliday and Anna May Walker Holliday. Shirley was raised by her grandparents, Joe and Annie Holliday of Lookout.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Randy Perdue, second husband of 44 years, Ralph Wayne Noble, grandson, Lincoln Nutter and a brother, Fred.

Surviving are daughters, Paula Napier (Greg); son, James Randy Perdue (Pamela); grandson, Chris Perdue, granddaughters, Randi (Jody) Fife, Jessie (Jason) Bowers; great grandchildren, Cameron Nutter and Adalyn Fife; brothers, Richard Holliday and Robert Holliday.

Shirley was a 1952 graduate of Nuttall High School and attended every reunion for 60 years. She also went to Beckley College and Charleston School of Commerce. Shirley was a faithful member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church for over 50 years where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a choir member, church treasurer and Lay speaker. She loved Jesus and her church family. She was also a member of Methodist women, 50 year member of OES Chapter 134, Ansted and Kanawha Chapter 38, member of Ansted and Oak Hill BPW, chairman of Ansted Ministry Center for several years. She was employed for many years by various business. Beginning at the age of 17, she worked at Maryland New River Company., Winona. Two of her main jobs were Ansted Motors for 20 years and Ansted recorder for more than 25 years. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Ansted with Pastor Herman Jones officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel of Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor. Visitation will be from 12:00 until time of service.
