Tennessee - Ronald E. Bodner, died on April 7, 2026, at a Tennessee Medical Center at the age of 89.


Ronald was born in West Virginia, to Mr. and Mrs. John Bodnar, and grew up around the Oak Hill, West Virginia area, where he attended Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School.


Ronald was drafted in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. At the completion of his military service, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois Institute of Technology. He was then hired and subsequently began his first career at International Business Machines Corporation. After that, his career path led him to become a franchisee of four Wendy's Restaurants in Georgia and Alabama.


He was a longtime resident of Sharpsburg, Georgia, prior to moving to Tennessee for the remaining years of his life.


Ronald leaves behind in this world his two daughters, Hazel Bodner of Nashville, Tennessee, and Rachel Anne Bodner of Newnan, Georgia; grandchildren, Cole Bodner, Joshua Berger, Abigail Berger, Samuel Berger, and Olivia Bodner; a brother, J. Michael Bodnar; a sister, Dr. Judith Bodnar; and numerous other relatives.


Services with military honors and interment will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 16, 2026, at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill, West Virginia.
