Fulton, TX - Rita died peacefully at home in TX surrounded by loved ones. Born a coal miner's daughter in Switchback, she was raised in Beckley and graduated from WWHS in 1961. Rita was a devoted mother and grandmother, a published author, and a free spirit who deeply loved the WV mountains. She will be deeply missed.
