Beckley - Nancy Darlene Jameson, age 94, passed away on Friday, October 3rd at the Bowers Hospice House after a long illness. Born December 7, 1930 in Cabell County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Inez Fry Coffman.

Nancy was a devoted member of the United Methodist Temple in Beckley for many years. She was a retired kindergarten aide at Maxwell Hill Elementary School. She loved being with her family. She loved music and was a member of the choir and bell ensemble for decades. Along with her husband, she was a very active member of the Calico and Jeans Square Dancing club for years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Billy Gene Jameson. Also her sister, Janet Hunter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Steven Kent Jameson, DO and wife, Ann of Union, Jeffrey Scott Jameson and wife, Helen, of Daniels, and daughter, Laura Kay Turner Pharm D of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Grandchildren include Steven Tyler Jameson and husband, Tim Miller of New Orleans, LA, Caroline Elizabeth Jameson and partner Jerry Zawacki or Marina Del Ray, CA, Nicholas Scott Jameson PharmD and partner, Matt Vogrin, of Alexandria, VA, Chris Turner of Jonesboro, AR, Logan James Turner, of Savannah, GA, and Victoria Catherine Turner of Jonesboro, AR. One great-granddaughter, Toulouse Anne Jameson-Miller of New Orleans, LA.

The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Audra and Evette, extended church family, and the entire staff of Bowers Hospice House.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 9th with Pastor Steve Gedon officiating. The Memorial will begin at 2 pm and the doors will open to visitors at 1 pm.
