Medora Mae Epperly-Spradling Obituary

Perry, FL - With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Medora Mae Epperly-Spradling, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, who left us on January 16, 2026. Born on December 11, 1940, in Oak Hill, West Virginia, Medora lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and a passion for family.

Medora was the heart of her family and took great joy in nurturing the bonds that held them together. She became a dedicated homemaker, ensuring that her home was a haven of warmth and comfort. She poured herself into supporting her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, passionately cheering them on at their sporting events and other activities. Her support extended beyond the sidelines; Medora was known for her extraordinary cooking, always delighting her family and friends with meals made from love. She was a member of the Mayo Community for the last 25 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Edna Epperly; one grandson, Tommy Bell; and one great grandson, Brenson Bell.

She is lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 66 years, Charles Spradling Sr.; her children, Cheryl Bell (Ken), Charles Spradling Jr. (Kim), and Michele Freeman (Jacinto); her grandchildren, Ken Jr., Christina, Robert, Bill, Tiffany, Rachel, Chris, Chuckie, Victoria, Ryan, Ashley, and Cruz; her 29 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; her brothers, Charles and Junior Epperly; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Together, they created a loving home filled with happy memories and cherished moments.

A Celebration of Medora's Life will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 11:00AM at the Dowling Park Church of God, Live Oak, FL, with Reverend Tim Hamm officiating. Family and friends will gather to honor her legacy and share stories of the remarkable woman she was.
