Crab Orchard - Margaret Cooper Smith, 94, of Crab Orchard, WV passed on April 5, 2026, She
was born on September 25, 1931 in Clifftop, WV. Margaret was the daughter of
the late Lillian Persinger Cooper and Clayton Cooper. She married John L.
,"Logie", Smith on April 4, 1953. He proceeded her in death on July 9,
1979.She was proceeded in death by two infant children, John L. Smith Jr.
and Kathy Jane Smith as well as three brothers, Charles Cooper, Gary Cooper,
and Donald Cooper.
Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 10 at Crab Orchard Baptist
Church. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00. Pastors Mike Sission and David
Bush will be conducting the service. In lieu of flowers please, consider a
