John Kenneth Browning, Sr.
John Kenneth Browning, Sr., 63 of Lansing, departed this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Fayetteville of an automobile accident.

He was born December 18, 1956 at Logan, the son of the late Rubal W. and Anna Lou (Stafford) Browning.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Leona (Spry) Stafford; his paternal grandparents, John Sherman and Edna (Blankenship) Browning; and several aunts and uncles.

John was a 1974 graduate of Man High School where he was a member of the Man High School Marching Band and the High School Stage Band. He attended WV Tech at Montgomery. John worked for many years at Browning Lumber Company. John's passion was music, he was a guitar player and a member of various bands through the years. He also attended Ansted Baptist Church and Rev. Randy Spurgeon was his Minister.

Those left to cherish his memory are three children, John Kenneth (Kathy Jo) Browning, Jr. of Man, Sara Margaret "Meg" (Brian) Keith of Whitman, and Jenny Rebecca Ann (Dustin) Picard of Hesperia, CA; one brother, Stephen "Steve" Browning of Hico; six grandchildren, Chloe, Victoria, Lauren Jo, Steven, Grayson, and Jaden; two nieces, Teresa Miller and Katherine Young; nephew, Stephen Browning II; and numerous cousins, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 PM Sunday at Ansted Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 2, 2019, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Walter Grimmett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Pall bearers will be Brian Keith, Dustin Picard, Stephen Browning, II, Fisher Horton, Hunter Horton, Mike Miller, and Issak Browning Young.
