Janie Anita Siers
Janie Anita Siers, age 70 of Danese, WV passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital.
Born on April 13, 1949 in Mullens, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hoge and Marjorie Rutherford Hoge.
She resided in Claymont, Delaware for 43 years where she worked as an Account Manager at Wilmington Trust Bank. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She led many Bible studies at Bethel Baptist and Brandywine Valley Baptist Churches.
After marrying her high school classmate, Gary Siers, she moved back to Maplewood, WV. She loved spending time with all of her family and friends, and making blankets for everyone. She was a devoted member of Millbrook Baptist Church in Danese.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Clarence "Butch" Forren.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 7 and a half years Gary Wayne Siers; children, Anita Holz, and Joseph Forren; 12 grandkids, and 6 great grandkids also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley with her son, Joe Forren, and her pastor Steve Martin officiating.. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested all donations be made to the Millbrook Baptist Church, P.O. Box 61, Danese, WV 25831
