To my hero who taught me about the love of our democracy and patriotism to our country. As a small child in the early 1960’ you showed me what I should do to be successful in this life. You were my biggest hero. I am so envious of you and your whole family. Education in Boone Country wouldn’t be the same without you and your family. My last visit with you was 4 years ago along with my youngest son who is now 12 was great. He hasn’t forgotten meeting you and Bob! My other children were also beneficiaries of your influence. I will never forget what you instilled in me. I was there in the hospital to see how your family sent your mother away to a better place. I am sure your good works ha...ve helped you to that better place. My love and sympathy goes to Bob, David, and your whole family. Thanks for everything you gave to my whole family. I will never forget!Read more

My deepest sympathy to Bob, David and the entire family for the loss of a very nice lady! Every time I was in the flower shop she always had a big smile and most times would share a story of teaching! Again, my deepest sympathy to you all!

I've known Mrs. Price since I was 5 years old. She was my principal at Sylvester Grade School and also my teacher at one point. She was an excellent teacher. I also went to church with her. She was a fine woman with a great sense of humor. I have many fond memories of her. I remember her teaching us how to do the Pledge to the flag every morming it was very important to her that we did it right. She also taught kids in Sunday School and Bible School. She will be missed.
