Doris 'Dottie' Ann Lux Holliday
Doris "Dottie" Ann Lux Holliday, 85, of Crawley, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019, in the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg.
Born July 17, 1933, in Cranberry, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice Odolph Lux.
Doris worked in health care until she retired and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Maryalice Whipert and her best friend Patricia Ann Overcash.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 50 wonderful years, David Holliday; 1 son Eugene Hambleton of Hamilton, New Jersey; 1 daughter Alice Ammons of High Point, North Carolina; 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at Smathers Funeral Chapel, with her brother-in-law Neal Holliday officiating.
Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call one hour before the service from 10 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
