Clifford James Aliff Obituary

Beckley - Clifford James Aliff, age 75 of Beckley, WV passed away Wednesday April 30, 2025 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born on February 27, 1950 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Wilby Aliff and Patsey Blankenship Aliff.

Jim as he was known by family and friends, was a retired auto parts salesman, last working for Advanced Auto Parts in Beckley.

He was a member of Jones Memorial Baptist Church in Beckley, and enjoyed all cars, especially Chevrolet vehicles. He also loved taking care of his fur babies, Gigi and Jasmine, and listening to music.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by brothers, Danny "Wilby" Aliff and Troy "Bill" Aliff, and a brother-in-law Richard Blackburn.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years, Debra Harris Aliff; a sister, Debby Blackburn-Dunkley and husband Buddy of Beckley; sister-in-law Donna Harris of Florida; sister-in-law Vickie Aliff; niece Telena Bennett; nephews Danny Aliff, Mike Blackburn and wife Mandy, and Nick Blackburn and wife Samantha. Several great nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 2 :00 PM with Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
