Charles Edward Wilburn
Charles Edward Wilburn, age 78, of Crow, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
Born on May 25, 1941 in Glen Rogers, he was the son of the late Arthur Wilburn and Thelma Kincaid Wilburn.
Mr. Wilburn was a retired heavy equipment operator for the coal mines at Consol Coal Co. Roland Mine. He was a member of the UMWA Local
#1330, and was of the protestant faith.\Mr. Wilburn enjoyed woodworking, lawn work, gardening, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maleta Wilburn, a brother Robert Wilburn, brother-in-law Ben Hardina, sister-in-law Kim Wilburn, brother-in-law Jack Baker and brother-in-law Mike Janes.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his children; daughter Kamala Wilburn of Beckley, Steven Wilburn and wife Barbie of Crow, and
Greg Wilburn and wife Anita of Crow; brothers, Harold Wilburn and wife Yvette of Crow, and Gerald Wilburn of Scarbro. Four sisters, Shirley Coutts and husband Dick of PA, Mable Hardina of FL, Sandra Mullins and husband Ben of VA, and
Janice Smith of Mount Hope. A sister-in-law, Carol Wilburn of White Oak, and a sister-in-law Valerie Baker of OH. Two grandchildren, Valerie Harvey and husband Jeremy of Crow, and Josh Wilburn of PA; two step grandchildren, Patricia Shaw and husband Adam of Beckley, and Chris Ward of Beckley. Two great grandchildren, Abby Grace Harvey and Olivia Marie; and two step great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Mackenzie Shaw. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
A visitation will be held at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley from 1 PM until 2 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2020, with graveside rites
and burial following at 2:30 PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Pastor Brian Harmon will be officiating.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.

I can't express how sorry I am for the loss of your Dad. It is a very difficult time so please know I'm thinking of you and you are in my prayers. Your Dad was a good man and he loved all of you so much, you made him very proud. I'll miss him too! Love to you all, Aunt Valerie
