Mrs. Zelda Lilly Bone passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Bowers Hospice House. Born in Flat Top, WV, she was the daughter of the late James W. Lilly and Lessie Lilly.
Zelda and her husband, Sherman, were part of the original founders of Cool Ridge Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who cherished her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Bone; her brothers, Denzil Lilly, Keledge Lilly, Neville Lilly and James Lilly; and her grandson, Brandon McMillion.
She is survived by her daughters, Drema Radford and her husband, Steve, and Donna McMillion; her son, David Bone and his wife, Diana; her grandchildren, Crystal Bone, Shannon Kiser, Troy McMillion, and Jamison Radford; great-grandchildren, Emma Hope McMillion, David Lee McMillion, Hannah Brown, Remi Kiser, Irie Kiser and Mason Lee Radford; and sisters, Eunice McDonald, Iris Cooper and her husband, Lawrence, and Serilla Dunn.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, February 4, 2018, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Larry Halsey officiating. Special music will be provided by Jamie Patton. Burial will follow the service in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
