Steven Lusk, 58, of Cyclone, WV, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, at Pikeville Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born May 27, 1959, a son of James and Beulah Bailey Lusk of Cyclone.
Steve was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish the beautiful mountains and streams of West Virginia. He was happiest on top of Huff Mountain watching the sunrise while turkey hunting with Jeff or fishing for bass and trout in the streams of Huff Creek.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilburn and Ruth Bailey, and his paternal grandparents, Drewey and Lunda Lusk.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Heather Dolph and husband, Jesse, of Dayton, OH; his brother, Jeffrey Lusk of Charleston; his sister, Tammy Fleshman and husband, Michael, of Oceana; nephew and niece, John Michael Fleshman and Emily Fleshman, both of Oceana; and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1pm Monday, January 8, 2018, at Evans-Calfee Funeral Chapel, 1081 Cook Parkway, Oceana. The Rev. Roland Cook will officiate. Steven will be laid to rest at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny. Friends may gather with the family from 11am until time of service Monday.
