Russie Mae Holtsclaw, 90, of Edmond, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 in a Beckley Hospital.
Mrs. Holtsclaw was born February 22, 1927 at Elmo, WV, to the late Russell and Annie Willis Kelly.
She attended Goodhope Baptist Church when she was able, and loved gardening and canning, and loved to crochet. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Holtsclaw; 1 daughter Carol Elaine Brown; 3 sons William R. Holtsclaw, Dale E. Holtsclaw and Donald B. Holtsclaw; 3 sisters Florence James, Iris Shaffer and Nellie Jones and 2 brothers Russell R. Kelly and William L. Kelly
Surviving is 1 daughter Sylvia Hardy of Edmond,; 2 sisters Rose Waycaster of Hopewell, VA and Elizabeth Hohensee of Hopewell, VA; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM, Thursday, February 8, 2018, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ansted with Rev. Ron George officiating. Burial will follow in the Willis Cemetery at Victor.
Friends may call from 1 PM until service time at the funeral home.
