Quincey's Story

Quincey Marie Vandall went peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Although she fought a long battle with health issues, her love of life, her faith in God, and her support from her family allowed her 95 beautiful years here on earth.
Born on February 21, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara Williams Fitzgerald. Quincey Marie is now eternally reunited with those gone before her including her parents, her husband of 25 years, Buster R. Vandall, son Robert "Bobby" Burleson, sisters Mackie Wyatt, Joy Schutzler, and Ramona Craddock.
She is survived by sons, Ed (Sybil Milton) Burleson, Benny (Marti) Burleson; sisters, Fonda Hedgecock, and Charlotte Roop, daughter-in-law Dinah Burleson, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church for over 25 years, and her last home church was Living Waters Baptist Church for the past 6 years.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 1 PM at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, with viewing hours from 11AM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Pastor Mike Gunnoe will be officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Living Waters Baptist Church, 201 Jennings Street, Beckley, WV. Pallbearers will be Ken Ward, Don McCallister, Scott Burleson, Todd Burleson, Mark Terry, and Pastor Mike Gunnoe. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.
