Priscilla's Story

Text size

Priscilla Mae Osborne, 60, of Rock View, WV, passed away on the evening of 9/21/2017 after battling recurring cancer.
Priscilla had many accomplishments throughout her life: working her way through nursing school, giving her time to the church and charities, and raising two children, just to name a few.
She was known in the community as one of the most generous, kind, and knowledgeable of women and at home as an amazing wife and mother.
Through many years as a practicing RN, she helped numerous premature infants, future mothers, young children, and those needing in-home nursing. She was a hard worker who left a small piece of herself with everyone she touched.
She never said, 'no' or walked away from someone in need, giving without thought to herself or expecting anything in return.
She loved all animals deeply and would travel with treats for any dogs she might meet.
She was devoted to her family above all else, striving to be present and encouraging them to be their best.
She cherished moments and experiences, always looking for reasons to celebrate, laugh, and have a great dessert.
She never lost her faith during all her trials, and we know she is still guiding us from heaven.
Priscilla is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Raymond Osborne III, her son, Christopher Osborne and his wife, Katie Bradford Osborne, her daughter, Jennifer Osborne-Roddenberry and her husband Robert Roddenberry, her grandchildren, Ana Gray Osborne and Allie Victoria Roddenberry, her mother, Lula Mae Cook, her brothers, Danny and Tommy, and her sisters, Pam Halsey, Gena Brewster, and Kelley Shamblin.
A memorial and celebration of life in her honor is to be held at Pineville Southern Baptist Church on Friday 9/29/2017 at 5:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, we would like a tribute in her name to a local rescue, Wyoming County Paw Patrol, so her love can be passed on to others.
