Peggy Ann Fisher, 78, of Rupert, passed away at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte on Thursday evening, November 2, 2017.
Born on February 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John Jasper and Virginia Ethel Casto Lyons.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Grover in 1977; 4 sisters, and 5 brothers.
Peggy was a devoted member of the Amwell Baptist Church. She was a loving mother of 4 children; was a caregiver of family and friends. She was one of Gods strongest soldiers, always worrying about others more than herself. She never complained about her own troubles; had a wonderful sense of humor, could easily light up the room with a contagious laugh. She never met a stranger. Her hearts desire was to see all of her family and friends in heaven.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Deborah Boggs of Rupert, Sandra Hanna of Clintonville; 2 sons, Michael (Debbie) Fisher of Dawson, John (Paulettia) Fisher of Rupert; 6 grandchildren, Johnathon, Pauletta, James, Jamie, Ashley and Garrett; 2 great-grandchildren, Kayleen and Jackson; a special adopted grandson, Joseph.
Service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2017 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Pastor John Groves officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m.
