Norma Colleen Taylor Stump, age 92, of Beaver, WV, went home to be with her Savior on Thursday, November 30, 2017, following a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Stump, and her daughter, Sandra K. Farrell.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jerry, and his wife, Cathi, of Beaver; daughter, Diane, and her husband, George Fanta, of Grafton, Ohio; son-in-law, Tom Farrell of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.
Norma loved her family dearly. She also loved her church, Victory Baptist Church, where she attended faithfully since 1994. She was a prayer warrior and hard worker. Taking pictures of family and friends was one of her fondest hobbies. She also enjoyed collecting different things and traveling in her earlier years. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary VFW 4469 and a faithful attendee of the Raleigh County Commission on Aging "Willing Minds".
Friends may greet the family at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley from 6-9 PM, Monday, December 4, 2017. A memorial service will also be held at Rose and Quesenberry in Beckley at 11 AM on Tuesday, with Pastor, Dr. Rollan Roberts, officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
Norma has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Victory Baptist Academy, P.O. Box 549, Beaver, WV 25813.
