Maurnetia Sue Neal, 76, of Hilltop, WV, went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2017, following a long illness.
Born April 21, 1941, in Affinity, WV, she was the daughter of the late George and Annie Harrison Reid.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Neal; brothers, Roy and Frank Reid; and great grandson, Jayden Holstein.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Erin (Damon) Rollyson of Gauley Bridge; son, Eric (Kathy) Neal of Hilltop; daughter, Cheryl (Frank) Farrell of Oak Hill; and daughter, Lisa Hamilton of Beckley; her dear sister, Elizabeth Asbury of Oak Hill; and her only surviving uncle, George (Stella) Harrison.
Her grandchildren: Heather Bowyer, and Andrea Lewis, of Oak Hill; Brandon Rollyson of Gauley Bridge; Brianna Cook of Frametown; John Adam Mullins, and Elizabeth (Joey) Canaday of Prudence; Eric (Landon) Neal II of Oak Hill; Weston (Melia) Toney of Charleston; Brittany, and Samantha Farrell of Oak Hill; Kristina (Jashad) Releford of Prudence; and Tara Hamilton of Beckley.
She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several speical nieces and nephews.
A home going celebration will be held 12:00 P.M. noon Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill, with Pastor Randy Southerland officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call the funeral home one hour prior to service.
The family would like to thank Dr. Scott Keffer, the staff at Plateau Medical Center, The Hilltop Center, Bowers Hospice House, Kecia Bowman and Ryan Richmond with Jan Care Ambulance for their exceptional care of our dear Mother.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
