Marlene Trump Boothe, 74, of Fairdale, passed away Saturday at the Bowers Hospice House. Born December 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Mann Trump.
Marlene was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed being outside spending quiet time at her fishpond and working with her flowers. Marlene loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Jeff and Gale Boothe; siblings, Kelly, Jess, Charlotte, Ruth, Bill, Joe, Beuna, Norma and Violet. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, John Boothe and Toni Huff of Union and Dale Boothe and Tara of McGraws; daughters, Janet Scott and Scott Durham of Mullens and Tina Macon and Paul of Charlotte, NC; sister, Francis Owens of McGraws; grandchildren, Corey, Chase, Jackie, Tara, Jessie, Kristen, Brooklyn, Jacob, Susan and Caitlyn.
Friends may gather with the family Tuesday evening from 5-8pm at Evans-Calfee Funeral Service, 1081 Cook Parkway, Oceana. She will be laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery.
