Margaret's Story

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Margaret Anne Lattanzi of Fayetteville, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 8, 2018.
She was born in Oak Hill, WV, to Anton and Sally Grunenburg on July 19, 1928.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Lattanzi, as well as both parents and her brother, Bill Grunenberg of Oak Hill.
She leaves behind her children, Dale Lattanzi (Susan) of Oak Hill, Kathy Perkins (Chris) of Fayetteville, Lindsay Lattanzi (Louise) of Oak Hill, Jana Gibson (Todd) of Mason, OH and Bryan Lattanzi of Fayetteville; grandchildren Chris Lattanzi of Fredricksburg, VA, Carrie Caldwell of Nallen, WV, L. J. White of Fayetteville, Bradley and Joseph Clevenger of Mason, OH; great-grandchildren Jacob Lattanzi of Fredricksburg, VA, Jackson and Adaleigh Caldwell of Nallen, WV; siblings Mildred Ball of Fayetteville and Don Gruenenberg (Nancy) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
Earlier in life Margaret worked as a dietician at Hidden Valley Nursing Home. She enjoyed walking, sewing, knitting, painting, wood and wreath crafting and reading her Bible. She was a life-long member of the Fayetteville Church of God and will be remembered for her faith in God and for her sweet, kind and gentle spirit.
Services will be held cryptside at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 14th in the Mausoleum of High Lawn Memorial Park, with Pastor Danny Goins officiating.
