James Earl Redden

James Earl Redden, 68, of the Cool Ridge and Ghent area passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in Charleston. Born on March 26, 1951, in Laurel Creek, WV, he was the son of the late Melvin Lovell Redden and Rema Flint Redden.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Gilfilen officiating and special music by Grace Parks. Burial with Military Honors will be held in the Peace Garden of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice to help those in need or to the Homeless Veterans Organization, www.woundedwarriorproject.org/veterans/organization, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
