Collins of Charlotte, NC; two great-grandsons, Aiden and Noah Collins of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Flo was a caring and compassionate woman who loved her family as well as her church family. She read her Bible every night before she went to bed and loved attending church. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Flo, loved her.
The Cook family would like to express a special appreciation for her excellent care givers: Margie Hatfield, Amanda Hubbard, Linda Stafford, Calista Trent, Mona Owens, Dorothy Brooks, Candace Stafford and Deanna Cook. An extra special thank you to Mom's nieces (just for being there), Brenda Topping, Betsy Browning, Diana Cook and cousins, Wilda Powell and Rhonda Trull-Cook.
Flo loved the musical stylings of her great-great-niece, Whitney Ann Walker. Whitney, at the age of three, would bring her guitar to entertain Aunt Flo. Whitney brought sunshine to her Aunt Flo on cloudy days. Flo also loved visits from her great-great-niece, Madilyn Walker, and great-great nephew, Owen Walker.
The Cook family would like to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedule to visit, send cards, made phone calls and sent treats to Mom during her illness.
