Eldsworth Bryon Weaver, 83, of Mullens, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, in a Beckley hospital following a short illness.
Born October 27, 1934, at Mullens, he was the son of the late Christopher Garfield and Ada (Agnew) Weaver.
Eldsworth was a former employee of the Wyoming County Board of Education, where he served as a School Teacher retiring as an Elementary School Principal. He also taught on the College level having taught at Southern Community College and Valley College. He was a member of the Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Janet Kay Weaver; one daughter, Pamela Weaver LaPorte; two brothers, George Otis Weaver and Roby Johnson Weaver; and one sister, Lillie Tilley.
Those left to cherish his memory include his three children, Susan Weaver of Mullens, Gary Weaver and his wife, Teresa Jane, of Pineville, and Tim Weaver of Mullens; four grandchildren, Lee Weaver, Bryan Hatfield, Christopher Weaver and his wife, Nicole, and Aerial Bledsoe and her husband, Jeremy; 10 great grandchildren, Devin Hatfield, Jayce Weaver, Tiarra Hollensworth, Vaden Lyons, Camille Bledsoe, Clayton Bledsoe, Chandler Beldsoe, Matthew Eggen, Noah Eggen, and Michaiah Eggen; two sisters, Jan Vipperman of Fayetteville, NC, and Cecil Coleman of Princeton; and one brother, Russell Weaver of Mullens.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at the Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mullens, with Johnny Morgan and Rev. Lewis Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley.
Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 4, 2017, at the Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
