Debra Lynn Fraley, 61 of Colcord, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
She was the daughter of the late Clifford "Junior" Fraley and Louise Dominion Fraley. She was also preceded in death by her sister Brenda Bond.
Debra was a 1974 graduate of Clear Fork High School and a member of the Colcord Presbyterian Church. She loved her job as an NICU nurse at Women and Children's Hospital where she retired after twenty plus years of service.
Debra was an awesome sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed every single day and loved vacationing with her family and friends. Time spent with each person brought her lots of joy. Nothing made her happier than her nieces and nephews and their children. She could not wait to see them, talk to them, and hold and play with the little ones. Anyone who knew or met her loved her kindness, smile, and gentle spirit.
Those left to cherish many beautiful memories of her are sister and their spouses Carolyn "Jeanie" Lehowicz of Reston, VA; Betty and Peter John of Myrtle Beach SC, and Pamela Fraley of Colcord, WV. Also she will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, and their children and spouses along with aunts, an uncle, cousins, and close friends.
A celebration of Debra's Life will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 6-8PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home-Beckley, WV. Her Memorial service will follow the next day on October 7, at 11:00AM at Colcord Presbyterian Church in Colcord, WV with Rev. Jerry Pauley officiating.
Debra loved her church and their service for others and in lieu of flowers her wish was to have donations made to Colcord Presbyterian Church, C/O Polly Pettry at 107 Butler Place, Colcord, WV 25048
