David Franklin Tucker, age 47, of Daniels, WV, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 15, 2017.
Born on December 10, 1969 in Beckley, he was the son of Betty Jo Tucker Marrs of Daniels and the late Loyd L. Lemon.
David was a coal miner and a US Navy Veteran. He was a former policeman for the town of Sophia and enjoyed motorcycle riding in his spare time.
In addition to his mother, those survivors left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Ashlee Tucker Workman and husband, Nathan of Daniels, and Carrie Jo Miller and husband, Robert of Clover, SC; a brother, Terry Tucker and wife, Pia of Monroe, NC; a sister, Sonya James of Beckley; seven grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2 PM, with Pastor Paul Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.
Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
