Our precious husband, father and brother, David Bruce Coleman, 60, of Oak Hill, WV, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.
Born July 31, 1957 at Oak Hill, WV, he was the son of the late Martin Camillus Sr. and Virgia Swanigan Coleman.
Bruce was president of Camco Heating and Cooling and ABS Mini Storage. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Hill; a 1975 graduate of Collins High School and member of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America.
Always interested and active in his community, Bruce was a thirty five year member of the Oak Hill Fire Department and served over 20 years on the Oak Hill City Council. He will be greatly missed!
His memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of his wife of 31 years, Alma G. Smith Coleman; daughters, Sarah Renee Coleman and Karen Elizabeth Coleman; sister, Patricia L. Harmon and her husband, Bill, Hurricane; brother, Martin C. Coleman Jr. and his wife, Rebecca, Oak Hill; his loving pets, Happy, Bruno and all his chickens; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Hill, with Rev. Greg Swisher officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM.
Members of the Oak Hill Fire Department will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert L. Brash, John Alexander, Tom Rodes, Jeff Atha, Tom Smith, James Fox and Willie Brash.
