Danny J. Workman, 68, of Hunter Addition, Naoma, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, WV.
He was born on October 5, 1949. He was the son of Joe and Paula (Pete) Workman.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his cousin and best friend, Eddie Workman as well as his faithful four-legged companion, Petey.
Danny graduated from Marsh Fork High School, Beckley College and West Virginia State College. He previously worked for Beckley Coal Mines. He was a caring soul who always looked out for those he loved.
Survivors include his daughter, Rachel and husband, Jason Halstead of Beckley; his son and best friend, Neal Workman and wife Brandi of Stoutsville, OH. His grandchildren were his pride and joy: William "Hunter" Halstead, Abigail Grace Workman and Kaston Phoenix Workman. Danny is also survived by his three brothers and their companions: Rodney Workman and Beth, Kevin Workman and Michelle and Randy Workman and Teresa; two sisters, Barbara Acord and Jack and Lisa Wesley and Roger. He had numerous friends and family members including nieces and nephews the he thought the world of. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Donna.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, with the Rev. Benny Turner officiating. Interment at A.T. Miller Cemetery, Drews Creek, Naoma. The visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home.
