Betty Ann Earehart Daniel, age 87, of Beckley, WV, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born on December 18, 1930 in Covington, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Earehart Sr., and Juanita Andrews Earehart.
Betty was a 1949 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a member of United Methodist Temple and was very active in the Beckley community. Her civic involvement included Beckley Junior Women's Club, Education Department President, Raleigh County Medical Auxiliary President and the Phymosia Garden Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Josh Dawson; daughter-in-law, Mitti Daniel; brothers, Dillard, Charlie, Bill and Howard Earehart; sisters, Norma Jo Dakos, Lyda Rose Tingler, and Virginia Lee Spencer.
Betty devoted her life to her family. Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, John M. Daniel Jr. and wife, Stephanie, of Tennessee, Dee-Dee Daniel Hatcher and husband, Randy, Kathy Daniel Ballard and husband, Eddie, and Sandi Daniel Dawson and husband, Don, all of Beckley; a brother, Andy Earehart and wife, Pat, of Beckley, and a sister, Juanita Earehart Smith Hines, and husband, George, of Texas; grandchildren, Randee Hatcher and fiance', Matt DelMonico, Kenneth Hatcher and wife, Megan, Kellie Jo Hatcher, Jason Ballard, Anndee Ballard Lynch and husband, Eddie, Kaydee Ballard, and Justin Dawson; great grandchildren, Abby Ballard, Jorden Ballard, Austin Lynch, Brady Lynch, Charlee Lynch and Aubrey DelMonico; three sisters-in-law, Louise Earehart, Dorothy Earehart and Alma Earehart.
A private family service with committal rites will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B in Beckley, on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 1 PM, with Pastor Doc Adkins officiating. A family viewing will be held from noon until service time on Saturday at the mausoleum. Entombment will follow in Sunset Mausoleum A in Beckley.
